Maryland Cancer Treatment Program Campaign
Help Thousands of Marylanders Receive Health Care in our State!
Support the Maryland Cancer Treatment Program!
One of our top legislative priorities is to pass legislation that would establish a Maryland Cancer Treatment Program. A Maryland Cancer Treatment Program would provide medical coverage for the first year of treatment to individuals newly diagnosed with cancer with incomes at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. Even though legislation did not pass during the 2009 Maryland General Assembly Session we will continue to build grassroots support for this issue. Please contact your state legislators and urge them to support the Maryland Cancer Treatment Program.
